Clubfoot Research Foundation Contributions to CTEV

How to reference our work

You may request the citation at info@clubfootresearch.org. if you wish to include any answers to questions we already answered based on our analysis of validated scientific studies in our educational forums and groups that we published between 2012-2025. The information or concepts are free to use as long as you reference the original work that formed part of our organization's education.

The Clubfoot Research Foundation already published much of our education and analysis to various universities, researchers and even some brace design projects to steer the development of new therapies and research studied in CTEV.

The data we sourced are combined with several data points across sources to ensure the integrity and objectivity of our analysis process and the data shared. Universities reported to us that they feel we do the work equivalent to that of a university department in this disorder.

More about how we work

If you want to look for research studies for a specific question, please check our Clubfoot Research Foundation Forum group where the literature has been sorted into categories already. FYI we are now moving our work over to this website but much of the work still needs to be added.

This non-profit is unbiased towards what is published and do not cherry pick studies or statements to support a narrative. We provide context and analysis of all the studies available to university students, researchers, upon request for assistance since 2011.

We provide insights on unpublished topics and the effort is aimed at expanding the scope of publications in this arena. Some of our projects already completed are listed on our Home Page.

The projects completed are critical to expand education and knowledge in CTEV, a categorized complex genetic disorder (CDC:2022).

The expansion of research study topics will benefit all stakeholders…

Did you know?

Clubfoot/CTEV/Talipes is a genetic disorder, but did you know that the word genetic does not imply that you inherited the disorder from your parents! There is therefore no reason to feel ashamed when your baby is born with this disorder in the majority of instances nor is it necessarily preventable through lifestyle choices.
